Role and Responsibilities:
What’s Involved:
• Supervise the allocation of support tickets/calls to the IT team.
• Serve as an escalation point for technical issues requiring advanced support or technical expertise.
• Maintain a network of 60+ tills, ensuring high reliability during trading hours.
• Establish robust failover systems for business continuity in the event of IT issues during trading hours.
• Ensure the corporate LAN operates reliably, planning for necessary changes due to expansion or additional business needs.
• Oversee backup management, ensuring regular monitoring, testing, and data integrity verification.
• Maintain and update IT documentation.
• Analyse incident trends to identify and address root causes.
• Manage and execute IT projects.
• Cultivate relationships with key third-party service providers and suppliers.
• Develop targets to drive individual and team performance.
• Formulate strategies, policies, and procedures to facilitate the effective operation of the IT Department.
What You Need:
• Proficiency in the Microsoft product line, particularly Office 365. Experience with Microsoft NAV is advantageous.
• Essential experience in backup management. Knowledge of Veeam backup management is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of VMWare, VCenter, and VM management.
• Experience in Active Directory Management.
• Competence in Cybersecurity and Data Protection.
